This tremendous tomb was based on the requests of Shah Jahan, the fifth Muslim Mogul ruler, to respect the memory of his adored late spouse. Worked out of white marble and remaining in formally laid-out walled gardens, the Taj Mahal is viewed as the absolute best gem of Muslim workmanship in India. The head was thusly imprisoned and, it is said, could then just see the Taj Mahal out of his little cell window.
Shah Jahan was an individual from the Mughal administration that ruled the majority of northern India from the mid sixteenth to the mid eighteenth century. After the passing of his dad, King Jahangir, in 1627, Shah Jahan developed the victor of a severe force battle with his siblings, and delegated himself ruler at Agra in 1628. Next to him was Arjumand Banu Begum, otherwise called Mumtaz Mahal ("Chosen One of the Palace"), whom he wedded in 1612 and esteemed as the most loved of his three rulers.
