Religion is the set of beliefs, feelings, dogmas and practices that define the relations between human being and sacred or divinity. A given religion is defined by specific elements of a community of believers: dogmas, sacred books, rites, worship, sacrament, moral prescription, interdicts, organization. The majority of religions have developed starting from a revelation based on the exemplary history of a nation, of a prophet or a wise man who taught an ideal of life.

The gatherings, practices and frameworks that individuals recognize as "religions" are diverse to the point that it is no simple assignment to present to every one of them under one straightforward definition. Obviously, this trouble has not halted individuals from endeavoring to characterize religion. While nobody meaning of religion can totally aggregate up what religion is, they all let us know something about religion and maybe convey one to a nearer comprehension of what we mean when we discuss "religion."
